There are days when we feel like hiding every piece of us and not letting everyone see through us. We feel like diving deeper into our thoughts and entering another world when no one else is there: only the voices and vague faces that kept on hunting us even in broad daylight. We were like drowning and never letting ourselves swim back to the shore of our sanity. We were in opaque pain that sums up everything that we are going through. We sometimes feel lost, devastated, worthless, and incapable of healing on our own.
These feelings may be a burden at first but you know what’s amazing in feeling it all? Yes, we were afraid of the pain that it might cause us yet when we learned how to accept all of the feelings and their effect on us, we were able to stand up slowly and push through. And that is courage, bravery, and most especially a strong faith that we have ever since we are taught that there is God. Our mistakes, weaknesses, and shortcomings aren’t a definition of who we are as a person. It’s more of what we have done in trying, making things right, and our aim to succeed. What are growth and success if we weren’t able to go through something that would hone and build us?
We can’t deny the fact that the obstacles that we are facing could either break or tear us apart but neither way, we still choose to continue walking on our chosen path even though our wounds are still bleeding and our scars are still healing. May we always see the goodness in everything, appreciate even the tiniest things, and find the courage that we need to fight the demons inside us.
Own your story. Don’t let anyone take it away from you just because they don’t believe that you’d go through all of that. The best version of yourself is yet to unfold and I hope that you are ready for that. An amazing person like you deserves the beautiful things this world has to offer so darling embrace who you are, don’t escape the pain but rather learn from it and inspire others to move forward gracefully.
Officially, this is my second blog post and I hope that it will spoke volume to everyone who’ll reach it.
